How to compare two CBCT scans on the same cut

← Back to Quick Guide

  1. In the viewer click Compare and pick a study for each pane.
  2. Click Auto align, look at the anatomy, then Keep it — or click Place landmark pairs, click the same point on both studies three or more times, and Align panes from landmarks.
  3. Same cut is on: the right pane turns to the left study's plane. Use Fine-tune right pane for the last half-degree or half-millimetre.
  4. For bone gain or loss, open Bone change, click the centre of each condyle on the left pane and Show bone change: red is bone in the left scan only, green in the right only, with mm³ per region. Read the floor line under the table; a red patch is a number, not a diagnosis.
