How to tag a measurement or an implant to a tooth

← Back to Quick Guide

  1. In the Annotations list (Actions → List), each measurement row has a tooth picker: choose the FDI number; the Universal number is shown in brackets (16 (3), 36 (19), primary teeth marked p).
  2. In the implant plan, each fixture row has the same picker for its site.
  3. The tooth travels with the study: it is saved with the annotations, written into the DICOM SR as the finding site ("Tooth 16 (ISO 3950 / FDI)") and prefixed to the label in the presentation state. Nothing is identified automatically — you pick the tooth.
