How to view DICOM studies (CBCT, CT and MRI)

← Back to Quick Guide

  1. On a file card, click the 3D / viewer icon, or open a study from Imaging.
  2. AllyVue Web shows the axial, coronal, sagittal and 3D panes, with measurement, panoramic and implant tools. On a device without WebGL 2, or by choice, AllyVue Cloud renders the images on our servers.
  3. MRI opens slice by slice. Click Compare series side by side to put two series next to each other (for example closed and open mouth); scrolling is linked and a yellow reference line shows where the other slice cuts the image.
  4. Use Display check in the sidebar once on any new screen to confirm it shows faint detail.
